Taste the Season
Sunday September 23rd 1:00-3:30
Join us to tempt the taste buds and the eye as we tour the permanent plantings and sample the numerous varieties that flourish “on the coldest hillsides”. If you’ve ever been lost when reading variety descriptions such as “sweet yellow flesh with spicy, refreshing, nectar-like flavor”, then this is the workshop for you! Come decide for yourself. We will try many of the fruits that grow at the nursery and discuss their site and pollination requirements to see if they would work for you! Come be a giraffe!
Taught by local fruit specialist Effie Elfer
